This second book in the series is even better than the first. There is more plot, more substance. Like the first book, this is extremely well written. Character development is the strongest element. While plot is stronger, it's still pretty light. Pacing keeps us involved from beginning to end. Locale is almost nonexistent. The setting of a small, suburban, college town is generic. Maine is mentioned, but it could be anywhere in the US. In any case, I enjoyed the book, and will look forward to reading any other additions to the series.Product details

I like the story line of the book and I love the Secret Shopper Mom scenario and characters. It was a fun, quick read and I will read more of Ms. McClymer's books in this series.

As always, I'm taken in each time thinking I know who did it.
Much to my surprise it's not at all who I guessed.
The author has a wonderful grasp of how hard - nay, impossible - it is to "have it all." Plenty of humor, and the plot keeps you guessing.
I really enjoyed this cozy mystery. This is the first one that I've read by this author.
The main character is Molly and she's a mystery shopper with a husband and two kids. In this book she tries to join the real working world and gets pulled into a murder and an identity theft investigation by the FBI.
The book is filled with fun and delightful characters.
It's a little strange, but since I've read two Secret Shopper books, I think about secret shopping when I am out. It's really only a small part of the books, but the story is told in such an interesting way, I feel as if I'm visiting with friends. The mystery is good and I'm looking for another installment.
